Hypsometer 1000LH

The Opti-Logic LH series Hypsometer/Rangefinder height measurement system combines a pulsed laser rangefinder and a vertical angle sensor in a low-cost, lightweight, easy-to-use package. The hand-held laser rangefinders are capable of measuring distances to non-cooperative targets up to 550 metres, dependant on target size and reflectivity and up to 915m to a retro-reflector.

Incorporating an internal electronic tilt sensor, the LH series Laser Hypsometers make vertical angle measurements with better than 0.5° resolution to remotely determine heights of trees and other objects.

Four separate modes determine distances, heights and angles. With the push of a button, the unit configures itself to measure in feet, yards or meters. Applications on vertical heights measuring include tree height, construction, utilities, architectural measurements, landscaping, real estate appraisal, and much more. The system is ideal for applications where survey quality measurement is not required and high instrument cost is not justifiable.
