Suunto 300mm 3 Thread Increment Borer with 5mm Core

Suunto increment borers are used for examining wood quality and measuring growth rates.

The extent of woodworm or termite damage, impregnation depth etc. Canalso be measured with these borers, which are made from the finest steel.However, these special uses can cause extra wear to the borer bit.

Suunto increment borers come in core diameters of 5mm and arecoated with Teflon to reduce friction heat (an important considerationwhen growing trees are involved). The Teflon coating also makes theborers easy to extract. Both thread styles (two and three threads) aredesigned to make the borer easy to extract from the wood.
