Each charge of the Accu Duo rechargeable battery gives 3 hours of light with a halogen bulb and 9 hours with standard bulb. It may be recharged up to 1000 times, so they save you money! It maintains its intensity until it fails and therefore gives constant white light. It resists cold better than alkaline cells.

The Duo charger cannot overcharge the Duo rechargeable battery, so you can leave it in the charger without worrying.
