Developed with U.S. Soil Conservation Service for classifying the color of soils. Over 395 colour chips are mounted on eleven index tabbed charts: seven (7) hues (10R, 2.5YR, 5YR, 7.5YR, 10YR, 2.5Y and 5Y) and two Gley (blue and green colours, and gray scale for submerged soils).
Apertures between chips to facilitate observations. Charts size: 4.25" x 4.4.25". Chip size: 1/2" x 5/8". Contained in loose leaf binder with color-name diagrams, mask, and Rite-In-Rain® note page.
